We are in the “Small Pavilion,” which is white, and right on the lake in the marina area. There is drop-off space and some parking in the marina, and a larger parking lot a little further out at the end of Accotink Park Rd.

Vernal or Spring Equinox, the Rites of Spring, Lady Day, Alban Eiler and Bacchanalia.  Ostara marks the day when night and day are equal and balanced. The Sun God’s strength increases. The Maiden celebrates her vitality. Life begins anew at this time. This is a time to plant the seeds of our flower, herb and vegetable gardens. Ostara calls to us with a simple question: what is the seed you will plant for this time of quickening? How will you nourish the soil of your life for a fruitful harvest? There is power in the emerging sprig, the twisting vine, and the budding bush. Something is growing. Will you participate in the cultivation of your life?

This event is children and family friendly!
