The God of Thunder demands your presence as his comic book facsimile strides across the silver screen once more. Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok opens on November 3, but only the foolish would see such a film on Freya’s Day! No! The true would wait until a far more appropriate weekday to gaze in wonder at the sculpted arms of Chris Hemsworth … I mean, err …
We’ll be seeing the film at the Regal Gallery Place Stadium 14 (across the street from the Gallery Place/Chinatown Metro station serving the green, yellow, and red lines) at 7:05 on Thursday, November 9. This is a standard movie (i.e. not 3D) showing. The last trains from that station are all after 11pm, so the metro riding among us should be able to easily find their way home.
Tickets are on sale now, so you can buy them in advance of the show!
Dinner options abound in the area, though Clyde’s seems like a good option since it’s right outside the theater. Once we have a sense of who may want to grab dinner before the show, we’ll see about where we want to eat.
Come for the friendship, stay for the biceps … I mean the movie.
See you on the 9th!
